About the role
We are hiring a Consumer Lead to lead our effort to get our product into the hands of users at specific target companies for the sake of growing bottoms-up adoption of our model. Here's why we need your help:
Ultimately, we need decision makers at companies to “lift and shift” from their existing 401k record keeper (Fidelity, Schwab, Guideline, Voya, etc) to ours.
There is massive inertia here: no HR person wants to do this, no one thinks that employees really care.
We know that employees care because they already do this outside of their retirement accounts: people buy memecoins, stocks, options, etc in their personal accounts.
We think there’s an opportunity to connect the dots by growing dense adoption of our IRA product with specific companies, and then going to the HR leaders at those companies with an update that their employees are already in, and they should just make it easier for them to use Basic Capital, by making Basic Capital their 401k provider.
What you'll do
You’ll have budget, resources, and autonomy to find a way into the minds/hearts of users at a long list of companies that we want to migrate onto the Basic Capital 401(k) platform
We believe that this is a growth role through and through - you’ll be measured on both density of adoption within target accounts and overall growth of our IRA (i.e. “consumer”) product.
Who you are
You have a background in peer to peer growth for fintech
You have the ability to design and test prototypes quickly
You have an intuitive understanding of how d2c growth works (funnel design, referral mechanics, reporting, etc)
Compensation
This role has a base salary range of $150,000–$225,000 and offers meaningful equity compensation.
